Life of a Harpist

Hello! Thank you for coming across my page, I am SO happy you're here! My name is Kylene Evans, and I am a professional harpist, based in Southern California. I have been playing the harp for over 14 years, and has loved every minute of it. 

I was first introduced to the harp at the age of 3, when my parents brought me to a Valentine's Day church event. There was a harpist playing the instrument and I ran up to the harp, completely amazed by its beauty. I begged for one up until my 6th birthday, when I was gifted a celtic harp. I quickly advanced, and was given a lever harp when I turned 10. I began playing at private events and it wasn't long until I needed a bigger harp. In April of 2019, I was blessed with my Camac Athena EX pedal harp. Ever since then, I've booked more private events, along with weddings! Harping is my passion, and I believe I found my calling. As of now, I play at weddings, celebrations of life, churches, music productions, and other private events. I also teach!
